Term One

This term, we have been focusing on addition and subtraction and the different ways we can solve calculations. We have been using pictorial representations such as place value grids, number lines, and drawing representations of numbers to help us, and we have also used concrete manipulative such as base-10 equipment and place value counters to support our learning. We have then moved onto using formal written methods to solve calculations.
